Peach Orchard Point
This generational family home on Seneca Lake's, Peach Orchard Point, was a delight to work on. With the addition of two extra rooms, an office and bedroom, along with a deep energy retrofit, new kitchen and bathroom, Trade helped to breathe new life into this wonderful home. The exterior pergola area provides a relaxing covered space to enjoy the fantastic views up the lake while enjoying a glass of wine.
The owners were looking to add comfort and added space for family and friends, while still maintaining some of the history of the building, such as the original stone fireplace. Trade also reused some of the original wide plank oak flooring, which provided some richness and warmth.
Appealing to the owner’s passion for cooking and entertaining, the design of the kitchen and pantry area was thought through carefully to provide a clean and very functional area, and a high level of craftsmanship. The white oak cabinetry and solid surface countertops offer a wonderful space to relax, entertain guests, or make that home-cooked meal.
